Initial design of the flexible robotic arm join
Identifying the problem of the existing model

Initial alternate design ideas to eliminate or reduce the existing issues. Design ideas were modeled using SolidWorks, and 3D printed for testing.
The final design was able to eliminate all the existing issues and was able to button feature where it can detect and control the arm swing. The final design was manufactured with 3D printing technology.
